Okushal

UI/UX, Web design, Graphic design, Art Direction
Okushal was created by a small group of friends who’ve been restored, revitalised and rejuvenated by their own personal rebirths. Sometimes these experiences have come in fleeting moments, other times they’ve been languid but life-changing. Often shared, and occasionally very private. Always lifting their spirits and left them feeling refreshed, re-awakened, reinvigorated. That feeling of starting anew is a special state of mind, body and spirit. They wanted to do something to capture it. To embrace it. To express it. And mostly, simply, to toast it. The name Okushal comes from the word Okusha, of Zula origin, meaning new or fresh.
Objective

Okushal Website Design

Okushal was in need of a website that captures their brand ethos and conveys their message of being restored, revitalised and rejuvenated through art and fellowship. The website needed to be completed for their official brand launch at the 2024 Cape Town Carnival where carnival goers experienced a few tastings, thereafter being pushed to the website to give their feedback. Thus, allowing Okushal to build a database.
